San Onofre
The waves at San Onofre, best experienced during summer south swells, break along a few hundred yards on the north end of San Onofre State Beach. Old Man’s is a come one, come all series of peaks that gently roll across a broad playing field over seaweed-padded reef. The surf here is filled with newbies and groms, giant surfboards with dogs perched on the nose, the odd tandem couple, octagenarians getting their daily fill of stoke as well some of modern logging’s most dynamic talents. It’s California’s closest thing to Waikiki with a history nearly to match.
Handmade from 100%cotton duck cloth, the finest cotton threading and all the intrinsic imperfections that come with handmade heirlooms. Trimed with custom hand stained twill tape to give it the appearance on an old relic out of attic of your grandparent's seaside cottage. Stamped with the "WAXED Original" logo signage on each flag.
